Danish scenery developer, Vidan Design, have taken to social media to announce, not one, but two, progress reports on scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Billund Airport (EKBI) has been released, and work has started on Bornholm Airport (EKRN). Both airports are based in Denmark.
First, the new release, Billund Airport. Using photos taken by Vidan Design, this scenery addon incorporates textures in 2K, and includes animated jetways, custom-made airport vehicles, and dynamic lighting. Buildings, specifically hangers and terminals, are highly detailed.
Billund Airport is available from the MSFS Marketplace or Vidan Design’s website, priced EUR 19.15.
Vidan Design’s new project, Bornholm Airport, again, uses photography taken by the developers themselves, and though few details have been revealed, it is one to look out for.
Billund Airport is Denmark’s second largest, after Copenhagen, and serves one of the countries busiest air cargo services. Bornholm Airport is located on the Danish island of Bornholm, and serves both scheduled and chartered operators, one of which is Alsie Express.
