A2A Simulations has released another update for their Early Access Accu-Sim Aerostar 600 in MSFS 2024, detailed in a new forum post. The update brings the twin-engine to v0.9.11, delivering an exciting new feature alongside other improvements and additions. It also brings the aircraft closer to its full version 1.0 release.
The “Breaker Breaker” Update
Hot on the heels of a smaller update that brought small but necessary improvements to the Aerostar 600, the fifth update in August further immerses pilots in the experience. As the name suggests, circuit breakers are the headline feature, but the team has also introduced a host of other details, from avionics improvements to cabin environment tweaks.

The team at A2A Simulations has added a Collins DME-451 unit with expanded navigation functions, granting pilots greater freedom in both airframe customisation and flight planning. Meanwhile, improvements to environmental realism include window fogging and the effect of sunlight heating the cabin. The experience is further enhanced by more subtle details, such as animated armrests or the fact that radios turn on following an autostart.
The update also includes a variety of fixes and corrections, such as adjusting autopilot glide slope capture for smoother approaches and fixing the ADF volume knob and display behaviour. In addition to improved support for parking brake assignments and radio volume states, magneto bindings now more closely match Asobo aircraft. Even the maintenance tablet receives attention; for clarity, fixed items are now shown in green.

Community Feedback
The team reiterates its appreciation of suggestions, reports, and requests from customers in relation to the Aerostar, as they “march toward version 1.0 and even what may come beyond.” They also encourage users to continue providing feedback on the forums, as it helps improve the simulation for all. Existing customers can download v0.9.11 by downloading the latest installer from their A2A Simulations Store account.
