Aerosoft Further Previews CRJ for MSFS

Aerosoft’s Mathijs Kok and Hans Hartmann have recently taken to Aerosoft Forums to share further details and previews on their upcoming CRJ for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

At first, details were provided on the pricing model Aerosoft has decided to implement to the addons. The base package featuring the CRJ550/700 will cost €42 with VAT excluded while the expansion featuring the CRJ900/1000 will cost €16.75 with VAT excluded. The CRJ900/1000 expansion will require the base package to be installed on the system. The product will be released at the same time on the Aerosoft website as well as in the in-game Marketplace.

Two sets of previews were shared in the last 24 hours, one from Hans Hartmann, the aircraft developer, and one from Mathijs Kok. The most recent set is showcasing the progress being made on the animations around the aircraft as well as some details. Based on the post, the doors will be operated through the EFB present in the cockpit.

The second set showcases the aircraft in different lighting conditions as progress has been as well made on the custom dynamic lighting featured in the aircraft.

Although Aerosoft has already released CRJ Professional for Prepar3D, this model has been made from scratch to use the advantages of the new simulator. The aircraft should be on the same level of detail as the Prepar3D v5 version of the aircraft is. There will be no upgrade fee available to existing owners of the aircraft.

As of today, there is no release date set for the aircraft.
