Airfield Canada Further Previews Halifax for X-Plane 11

Airfield Canada has today taken to their social networks to share a new set of screenshots, this time directly from the simulator, showcasing the custom mesh made by Maps2XPlane that will be featured in their upcoming scenery of Halifax Airport (CYHZ) for X-Plane 11.

By the words of the developer, the scenery should feature realistic terrain throughout the airport area. This can especially be important around the control tower as there is a hill around it. For Ortho4XP users, a patch will be available upon release.

Unfortunately, no new information has been shared regarding the expected release date or the pricing details.

The scenery was originally intended to be free, but the developers have decided to make it a payware due to the amount of time and money invested in the development.

Halifax Stanfield International Airport is located on Canada’s East Coast. It serves the entire province of Nova Scotia, but also New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. From here, you can take flights to many remote destinations in rural Canada, but also to the big Canadian or American cities. It also sees cargo flights from places as far as Doha or China.
