Airfoillabs Releases C172 NG for X-Plane 12

Developers at Airfoillabs are delighted to announce the release of C172 NG for the X-Plane 12. The announcement was made on the company’s official Facebook page.

The recent update is a total remake of the older aircraft for X-Plane 11 with an accurate flight model, realistic physics, and a rebuild of the 3D model. Moreover, the new update features VR support, mesmerizing camera effects, and supports X-Plane 12’s rain effects. Another amazing fact is that the flight model is developed in accordance with the actual flight recordings. This means the natural effects on the aircraft, such as crosswind, air pressure, or stall, will be represented accurately.

The Cessna 172 is the most iconic aircraft in the history of aviation. It is a reliable aircraft and is used by several countries for training, military, survey, and joyride purposes. The flight control of the aircraft is relatively less complex and this is the reason it is cherished a lot by the aviation community.

If you are planning to buy the aircraft, you can get it for $49.95 at the X-Plane.org Store. If you own the existing model for X-Plane 11, then you can get the new version for free.
