Astralis Studios Releases Marsh Harbour Airport for MSFS

Astralis Studios releases Marsh Harbour Airport for MSFS 2020 and 2024, bringing Bahamas approaches, island detail, and smooth performance.

Make your approach into the beautiful blue waters and islands of The Bahamas. Astralis Studios has officially released its latest destination, Marsh Harbour Airport, for MSFS 2020 and 2024. Situated in the Abaco Islands, Marsh Harbour Airport is a major destination for flights in The Bahamas and a jumping‑off point for exploring islands across the Caribbean.

Astralis Studios, known for creating immersive and visually rich environments that are FPS‑friendly and smooth, has crafted an airport with a character that is all its own. This scenery brings a recreation that includes an expansive feature list. The FBO building, ATC Tower, and the Cherokee Aviation hangar interiors are all completely and faithfully modeled. The airport includes custom modulated terminal, hangars, airport facilities, and other support buildings.

Continuing the developer’s focus on realism, texture work plays a major role in the airport’s presentation. Custom textures and weathering were used in the design and build of the runways, taxiways, and aprons. The airport features enhanced vegetation in the areas surrounding the airport. The weathering helps enhance and provide a grounded, lived‑in feel.

Further enhancing the experience, night operations received careful attention. Many simmers understand and know the challenge of arriving at an airport at night, and the lighting is so dim that you struggle to see any of the surrounding facilities, or the environment simply disappears. Astralis accounted for this with custom night lighting across the entire airport and the associated facilities. This ensures that even after hours, you will have clarity to take off, land, or just pass through.

To round out the experience, Astralis includes one of the unique items that sometimes isn’t always seen in airport development: clutter. Airside equipment and clutter help bring the airport to life and add character. These are details that are sometimes overlooked but bring a wealth of difference to immersion. Marsh Harbour Airport is available now for MSFS 2020 and 2024 for $14.50 via the Contrail Shop.
