BeyondATC, New Air Traffic Control Addon for MSFS, Revealed at FSExpo 2023

As a surprise, BeyondATC was announced today for MSFS at FSExpo 2023 in Houston, United States during the product announcement seminars.

The addon is meant to replace the default air traffic control system in MSFS which is known to be clumsy at best. After all, BeyondATC promises to bring realistic ATC to Microsoft Flight Simulator without flying you into the mountains.

The addon is expected to feature ultra-realistic AI voices, approved phraseology by FAA and ICAO organizations, and support of third-party AI traffic add-ons like FSLTL and FS Traffic. What is revolutionary in this field is voice recognition, which will allow simmers to communicate with ATC in the simulator via voice.

Needless to say, the air traffic controller voices will have regional dialects for even more immersion when flying around the world, and they should become irritated if you request the wrong things at the wrong times, just like they do in real life.

BeyondATC, as mentioned in the introduction, uses its own route generation system to ensure you don’t fly into any mountains while navigating, whether you’re flying under IFR or VFR rules.

The addon will support both Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and MSFS 2024. The release is set to happen this year, in 2023, and there is no price set yet.
