Boundless Previews Birmingham for X-Plane 11

Boundless has recently shared with the FSNews redaction a new set of previews showcasing their upcoming scenery of Birmingham Airport (EGBB) for X-Plane 11. This is not the first time the development of the scenery was mentioned. The development announcement happened back in early July when the scenery was in the early stages.

The scenery is going to feature full PBR textures on ground and buildings, accurate ground markings, or custom terrain mesh with sloped runway. Furthermore, optional static aircraft will be featured in the scenery together with animated monorail and partially modelled buildings interiors. As usual, the complete feature list can be found below.

All twelve screenshots directly from X-Plane 11 showcasing the scenery can be seen below. They have been taken both during daytime and nighttime and are especially showcasing the airport area.

The exact release date and pricing are yet unknown. The only thing we know is that the scenery is releasing “very very soon“.

Birmingham Airport (EGBB) is an international airport serving the city of Birmingham, England. The biggest operators at the airport are Jet2.com, TUI Airways, and Ryanair serving flights throughout Europe. However, long-haul flights to the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, North America, and the Caribbean are also operated from the airport. Annually, over 12 million passengers visit the airport.
