First publicly announced to be in development just about a month ago, on February 9th, Boundless has today released their rendition of London Stansted Airport (EGSS) for X-Plane 11. First scheduled to be released two days ago, on March 8th, the release was delayed to today due to some “final tweaks” being done to the scenery.
The scenery features color-corrected orthoimagery, accurate up-to-date airport layout, HD textures on all buildings, 4K PBR custom ground textures, custom night lighting, or 3D vegetation, for example.
Furthermore, all nearby carparks are fully modelled together with nearby hotels and buildings. The scenery is compatible with Orbx’s TrueEarth product range in the area. The terminal interior has been modelled by the developers as well, and the complete feature list can be found below in the article.
The scenery will be for a month available exclusively through the iniBuilds store, and later on will be added to the Boundless website as well. As of right now, you can purchase the scenery for approximately €22 with VAT excluded through the iniBuilds store.
