Boundless Shares Feature List for Shannon Airport for X-Plane 11

Boundless has today shared with FSNews the final set of previews showcasing their upcoming rendition of Shannon Airport (EINN) for X-Plane 11 before the release. Although most of those previews were already shared through their social network profiles in the past days, the message did as well include some information on the expected release date and features.

Based on that we know, that the scenery is scheduled to be released in the coming weeks and will feature HD textures, modelled terminal interior, custom static aircraft, and accurate taxiway and runway layout.

Furthermore, we can expect the scenery to feature custom trees that are colour matched to the custom ortho imagery, animated road traffic and airport vehicles, or good optimization as well as custom rain puddles realistically placed around the airport and custom mesh, for example. Although the pricing details are still unknown, it was mentioned in the message to us, that there is an exciting announcement to be made by the developer soon regarding the development expansion.

Shannon Airport is located in South-East Ireland and is well-known for having the longest runway in Ireland. The airport sees domestic and international traffic from both European and American carriers, mainly Aer Lingus and Ryanair. The airport has also previously had a visit from the worlds largest aircraft; the Antonov an-225.
