Digital Flight Sceneries Releases Polska Nowa Wieś Airport for MSFS

Digital Flight Sceneries recently released their rendition of Polska Nowa Wieś Airport (EPOP) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer, primarily creating freeware products, has released their first payware scenery for the simulator.

About Polska Nowa Wieś Airport

Opole-Polska Nowa Wieś Airport (EPOP) is a small regional airport located in Opole Voivodeship, Poland, and caters to mostly general and sports aviation traffic. The small airport contains two runways, 7/25 and 12/30, each measuring around 700 meters in length. Companies operate skydiving, sightseeing, and training flights at the airport. Due to its smaller size, larger aircraft cannot be operated and hence no scheduled commercial flights are available. The airport also does not operate its own METAR station and the nearest one is 82 km away in Copernicus Wroclaw Airport.

Key Features

Digital Flight Sceneries’ Opole-Polska Nowa Wieś Airport features detailed and custom-modeled airport buildings including a hangar with animated doors. The airport also features a custom-modeled base for the Air Ambulance Service for further immersion and operational capabilities. The scenery also sees high-quality texturing and ample use of PBR for increased realism and authenticity. Do note that these features are inferred from the official screenshots shared by the developer. The airport’s immediate surroundings also feature models of aircraft, cars, miscellaneous airport clutter, and lots of shrubbery for further immersion.
