FlightFactor Releases Brand New Exterior Previews for 777v2

FlightFactor took to Twitter recently to showcase new previews of their upcoming 777v2 for X-Plane 12. The anticipation for this add-on has grown significantly over the previous years, and these previews are a small step in satisfying the community’s excitement for this add-on.

The 777v2 was first announced in August 2021 and has since suffered extensive delays. The developers have kept pushing and have showcased progress in the Cabin, Flight Deck, and Crew Rest. Previous previews have shown us functioning oxygen masks with differentiation for economy and business class. After the announcement of modifiable cabin layouts, there is no doubt that the team has been working to make this a true-to-life add-on.

In the previews, the aircraft can be seen flying over Paine Field in Everett, where Boeing builds the 777. Close detail has been given to wear and tear near the movable parts, doors, and windows. The model demonstrates that even though they may seem modern, the 777 is an older design, and this attention to detail elevates the immersive experience for the users.
