FlightFactor has updated their renditions of Boeing 767 and 757 for X-Plane 11. Adding multiple functions of the aircraft, together with some bug fixes, the developer made these two aircraft compatible with new rendering API in X-Plane 11 Vulkan/Metal
The first thing, and the most significant one in this update is the X-Plane 11.50 Vulkan/Metal compatibility, which was implemented to both of these aircraft. However, both aircraft have a different changelog from each other. So these will be described separately in two sections of article.
It seems that our 757/767 models are ready to 11.50 Vulkan.

767 1.3.10
In the first section in Tweet made on FlightFactor Twitter account, the developer shared the changelog of Boeing 767. In this one, we can see an addition of VHF radio info file for PilotEdge, option to enable displaying BULK Temperature on EICAS or even an addition of violations in the air-fuel mixture in which the engine can stop if the engine igniter is not turned on. This can occur in heavy rains, icing of the engine, high turbulence, low fuel pressure.
There are also some bug fixes made to the aircraft. The developer fixed issues with TAI indication, radials rendering for NAVAIDs and FIX info, clock display, logic of heat, and much more.
Changelog of 767
- added support for X-Plane 11.50 running on Vulkan
- added VHF radio info file for PilotEdge
- added an option to enable displaying BULK Temperature on EICAS
- added temperature in cargo compartments displaying
- added violations in the air-fuel mixture in which the engine can stop if the engine igniter is not turned on: heavy rains, icing of the engine, high turbulence, low fuel pressure –
turned off sound notification “warning”, and light “caution” - during the “Fire detection test”
- fixed ground service objects drawing in X-Plane 11.50 (Vulkan)
- fixed lamps for fire extinguishing handles – fixed TAI indication
- fixed radials rendering for tuned navaids and fix info
- fixed clock display
- fixed logic of heat exchanging between fuel and environment air when wing anti-ice is active
- fixed some IRS lamps and states logic
- fixed broken VTM function – fixed flap placard limit speed for 767F
757 2.4.6
In the update of Boeing 757, the developer made almost the same changes like in Boeing 757. There are these violations during rain, turbolence or low fuel pressure, VHF radio info file for PilotEdge, BULK Temperature on EICAS, etc. However, what was different from the 767, are fixes for DH window on the EFIS control panel, fix of some button and lamps and the developer also fixed the default Thomson livery in in-pack livery package.
