Community-driven development group FlyByWire recently took to their website to share the changelog for the new v0.4 update to their free A320 NEO for MSFS which is an expansion from the default A320 NEO included with all versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator. The expansion was created with the intention of increasing realism for the aircraft, and the project has since provided major enhancements to the aircraft.
The update includes more than 20 new features, 15 improvements, and more than 20 bug fixes. Amongst the most notable new features and improvements is new MCDU features such as the addition of a “closest airports” page as well as being able to go direct-to approach waypoints.
As well as MCDU updates, the aircraft now has new sounds for fuel pumps, flaps, ground roll, rattle, touchdown, and winds. In addition, the update also includes new liveries. On top of this, there are many more features, improvements, and bug fixes included.
