FSDreamTeam Updated Chicago for MSFS

FSDreamTeam has today came to their Facebook page to announce the release of a rather small, but important update for the scenery of Chicago Airport (KORD) in the United States. Not only does the scenery now fully works with the new Microsoft Flight Simulator patch, but also features many new improvements.

For example, over 400 new light sources were added to the scenery together with full PBR implementation for the ground textures. Certain files within the scenery were also renamed to prevent a possible conflict with other sceneries.

In order to download the update, you will need to run FSDT Live Updater in case you purchased the scenery through the FSDreamTeam website or SimMarket. If you purchased the scenery from the Marketplace, the update should be automatically downloaded and installed for you within a week. This delay is caused due to the fact, that Asobo needs to check every file being sent to them.

If you want to purchase the scenery, you can do so via the FSDreamTeam website for €18.47.

Chicago O’Hare is one of two main airports serving the city of Chicago, Illinois. With its seven runways and 5 terminals, it’s the third busiest airport of the United States, after Atlanta and LAX. The airport is a major hub for American and United Airlines, and both have many intercontinental, international, national and regional routes serving the airport. But that’s not all as almost 30 major cargo airlines serve the airport on a regular basis too.
