FSimStudios Releases Calgary for MSFS

The development team of FSimStudios has recently taken to their Facebook page to announce the release of their anticipated rendition of Calgary Airport (CYYC) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

About the Calgary Airport

Calgary International Airport is located in the vicinity of Calgary in the state of Alberta in Canada. It is one of the busiest transportation hubs in the country and serves as a gateway for both domestic and international destinations.

The airport covers an area of 20.8 square kilometres and in 2022 it moved over 14.5 million passengers. This makes it the fourth-busiest airport in Canada. The airport offers four different runways and three different terminals and a cargo area for those who enjoy flights using freighter planes.

What does the FSimStudios Calgary offer?

FSimStudios created a detailed depiction of Calgary International Airport. Some of the main scenery features are high-resolution texturing, PBR, realistic night lighting, as well a fully detailed Twin Otter manufacturing plant.

Furthermore, FSimStudios promises excellent performance to ensure as best experience possible even for users with lower-end systems. In addition to that, there is a GSX profile with animated deicing pads included in the scenery, the Air Canada maintenance hangars also have animated doors, and functional VDGS is coming in a future update.

If you would like to get this scenery, you can do so through the FSimStudios website for approximately €20.03. FSimStudios also created more sceneries for Microsoft Flight Simulator, one of them being the recent-released Houston William P. Hobby Airport, which you can read about here.
