iniBuilds took to YouTube to release the trailer for their rendition of the Impulse 100, also known as the Pocket Rocket. With this release, iniBuilds aims to bring this small, yet agile aircraft into the virtual skies of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The aircraft is iniBuilds’ latest release following their Leeds Bradford scenery for MSFS 2024.

About the Impulse 100

The Impulse 100 is a two-seat, German-made ultralight composite aircraft that exhibits low stall speed, high cruise speed, and light weight. The Impulse 100 blends smooth design, agile maneuvering, and high performance, making it attractive to pilots seeking a light but versatile aircraft.

The aeroplane is referred to as a “Pocket Rocket” by the developer and is mostly used as a light-sport and training aircraft. It can accommodate two people in the cockpit, and a 120hp Jabiru 3300 engine powers all of this lightweight beauty. It can fly as fast as 130 knots and has a stalling speed of only 35 knots, making it one of the most versatile general aviation planes out there.

Key Features

The aircraft includes a high-fidelity 3D model and an extensive electrical system with functioning circuit breakers and accurate logic. The textures are 4K PBR, with six liveries, each having its own custom interiors. Animations include landing gear, tail wheel, canopy, and the flight control stick movement. The effects of rain, icing, exhaust heat, smoke, and lighting contribute to the overall immersion this aircraft has to offer. The Impulse 100 has the Allison 250-C20R engine, installed with a custom fuel system, cabin heat with temperature setting, and an oxygen system modelled.

The Impulse 100 is now available via the iniBuilds website for £11.99 GBP, and can be installed via the iniManager after purchase. To know more about what iniBuilds has to offer, feel free to check out our category on iniBuilds on FSNews.
