iniBuilds Releases New Update For London Heathrow Premium

iniBuilds has released its second minor update, 1.0.2, for the Heathrow Premium scenery for MSFS 2024. Since its release on the 8th of March, this fourth rendition of the UK’s largest passenger hub has seen the iniBuilds team working hard in the background to ensure a smooth rollout for all users.

Update 1.0.2

According to the release notes, the primary focus has been on elevation issues to the ground mesh and LOD, or Level Of Detail tweaks. These fine-tune the amount of detail and texture resolution that can be seen depending on how far from an object the camera is.

Several users had noticed issues where objects would suddenly disappear at various ranges. This had particularly been noted in the detailed terminal building interiors and tower areas. iniBuilds is confident that resolving these issues is part of this latest round of fixes.

Texture and Elevation issues resolved

Other enhancements and fixes include a selection of texture maps that have been improved to remove clipping issues. Other textures have had incorrect spellings, misplaced letters and similar visual problems resolved.

A variety of elevation issues, particularly on taxiways and movement areas have been highlighted and are now fixed. All these updates are following the version 1.0.1 update which was released on March 13th. Version 1.0.2 builds upon these fixes which were primarily for missing or misplaced objects.

Although none of these issues so far have been causing game crashes, they have been a source of frustration for some users on the iniBuilds Discord. This round of fixes will doubtless be welcomed. This is expected to be just the latest in a continuing series of improvement updates for the iniBuilds Heathrow Premium scenery. Should you have any replicable issues the iniBuilds team is actively seeking feedback and bug tracking via their Discord server.
