JustSim have taken to social media to announce the release of Helsinki Airport (EFHK) for X-Plane 11.
Fully compatible with all of X-Plane’s features, including addons such as X-Life and World Traffic, Helsinki Airport contains high definition and highly detailed custom buildings. In addition, the developers have also used texture baking (occlusion) and shading effects on terminal buildings and the various airport buildings. The surrounding areas are also custom made as are taxiways, runways and apron.
Windows and glass effects feature realistic reflections. Night lighting within buildings and around the airport is just what you would expect from a developer such as JustSim. Everything within this airport addon is optimised to run effectively with no performance issues.
Over 50 regular airlines operate from Helsinki Airport, serving 80 scheduled destinations across Europe, and 21 to North America, Asia and the Middle east. To serve this many operators, the airport has 50 gates, with jet bridges, and two main terminals. It also has 80 remote parking stands. Based in Finland, it is the main hub for Finnair.
