JustSim Releases Helsinki Airport for MSFS

JustSim Helsinki

Finland’s largest airport, Helsinki (EFHK), has recently been released by JustSim, for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and through the simMarket website. As this particular airport has been previously released by JustSim for X-Plane 11 and P3D, it would suggest this is a port over from those releases, which should give some confidence in the product.

The screenshots suggest this is a highly detailed rendition of this popular Finnish airport, that makes use of the new simulator’s advanced graphic capabilities, and up to date scenery. Features jetways, terminal buildings, and accurate models of Finnair’s, and Finavia’s headquarters. Accurate, and dynamic, night lighting is also included.

Helsinki Airport (EFHK), also known as Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, is an international airport located in Helsinki’s neighboring city of Vantaa, hence the name. The state owned operator, Finavia, takes care of all flight connections through Helsinki Airport. Over 50 regular airlines operate from here, serving 80 scheduled destinations across Europe, and 21 to North America, Asia and the Middle east. To serve this many operators, the airport has 50 gates, with jet bridges, and two main terminals. It also has 80 remote parking stands.

This new addon for MSFS is available via the simMarket website, priced at EUR 17.90, though previous P3D users can obtain this for EUR 10.90, and previous X-Plane users can purchase for EUR 12.90. To qualify, your previous purchases must have been made through the simMarket store.

I have been an avid aviation enthusiast for about eight years since I first started using FSX. Apart from flying in the sims (now X-Plane 11 and MSFS) I enjoy reading about aviation through the many periodicals and books available. I live in South Yorkshire in the northern half of the UK.
