Laminar Research Previews Default X-Plane 12 Airports

Continuing their myriad of new X-Plane 12 previews, Laminar Research have recently posted via the X-Plane forums and Twitter some new previews of the new default airports, as well as the default King Air, both coming to the unreleased simulator.

The previews show multiple shots of various default airports including KPDX, KSEA, CYBD, LOWI, and KASE. The screenshots highlight the new features coming to default airports including but not limited to new ground textures, new vegetation, new buildings, new objects, and new autogen.

Laminar Research also shared a small preview of the default King Air C90 aircraft coming to X-Plane 12 via Twitter. The aircraft previewed looks to be an upgraded or rebuilt version of the X-Plane 11 King Air C90, and features noticeably better textures and PBR.

No price or release date has been announced by Laminar Research, but it is assumed we can expect the release of X-Plane 12 sometime next year.
