Samos Airport, which originally opened in the mid-1970s, features just one runway and one terminal, consisting of just five boarding gates, and serves the region of Vathy, Greece. The airport saw nearly 490,000 passenger movements in 2024. Mainly, Samos is home to a network of seasonal routes, but also is hosts some scheduled ones on carriers like Sky Express, Aegean and Olympic Air.

According to the developers, the scenery has been developed with a goal of perfectly capturing “the atmosphere and layout of the real-world airport.” Some of the features in the scenery include realistic terrain and slope adaptation, enhanced night lighting and custom vegetation and environment detailing. Per MM Simulations, “whether you’re navigating the famous visual approach to runway 09 or enjoying the scenic views of the island during departure, Samos Airport will keep you engaged from start to finish.”
