Orbx Announces Mumbai Landmarks for MSFS

Orbx has today announced a new Landmarks series rendition on their Facebook page. This time, the well-known developer responsible for a wide variety of aerial sceneries, has decided to recreate Mumbai city, India. The city has a population of 12 million people, and it is one of the top commerce and entertainment centres.

Continuing in the forums article, the developer spoke about the core features of the scenery. There are over 100 medium-detailed buildings, then 16 high-detailed, such as Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Gateway of India, Imperial Towers and more.

A lot of rooftop helipads are located on skyscrapers of the city, which you can land on with your helicopter. Including the Antilia billionaire’s residence, Taj Wellington Mews or Shikra Heliport.

Furthermore, the scenery will use custom orthoimagery, terraforming and shoreline adjustments. The use of PBR materials wasn’t mentioned, but it’s unlikely the developer will not include them. The scenery will release in 4 days from now, on July 23rd. The price wasn’t stated as well.
