Rotate Confirms MD-11 is in Beta

One of the developers from Rotate has yesterday taken to the X-Plane.org forums to address and further preview the development of their highly-anticipated and long-awaited rendition of a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 aircraft for X-Plane 11.

The aircraft was initially first announced to be in development all the way back in 2017, over 4 years ago. Since then, the developers are pretty quiet about the development, however, come from time to time to the forums to share some updates.

This time, user atgcab from Rotate has announced that the aircraft is currently in the beta testing stage and shared two new previews of the aircraft exterior.

On one of the screenshots, we can even see a glimpse of the ground equipment that will come together with the aircraft and a nice “MD-11 Beta Program” livery.

Further, the developer has mentioned that they did not encounter or come across any major issues yet during the testing. It was stressed, on the other hand, that there is still a lot that has to be properly tested.

Rotate is currently not looking for new beta testers. No new information was disclosed on the release date topic. If you want to learn more about the addon development, you can do so by reading our previous article on the topic here.
