Shared Flight Reveals Roadmap

FlyJSim’s Shared Flight division team has recently taken to their Facebook Page to share the current development plans and what has happened in the past year in a brief roadmap. The development was last time officially mentioned back in August 2020.

As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, we wanted to share with you our current plans for development, and exactly what we have been doing this past year.

Based on the roadmap, which can be seen below, the product has been in closed alpha testing since late July 2020 and is scheduled to enter the beta stage in early Q1 2021. The first beta draw will be followed by a second one later this year. Unfortunately, no more specific information has been shared on that note.

It was further mentioned about the first beta draw: “Not only will this be an extended time for bug and stress testing, but it will also be an opportunity for you all to get hands on for the first time.“.

Shared Flight is a plugin officially announced back in May 2019, almost two years ago, and is aiming to bring multi-crew pilot operations to X-Plane 11. Based on previous posts, the application will have a tiered subscription-based model.
