SimNord Releases Aalborg for MSFS

SimNord, formerly known as Vidan Design, responsible for a range of Danish airport sceneries, such as Aarhus or Billund, has recently released their rendition of Aalborg Airport (EKYT) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The announcement of the release was made through a Facebook post, in which the developer also spoke about the airport itself. It is Denmark’s third-largest airport, situated six kilometres from the centre of Aalborg. The airport serves as a military base, as well as an international airport. It has scheduled flights to Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Faroe Islands, Barcelona, London and many more.

The airport is now available through the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace for €16.99. The developer has, however, not included any feature list with the release. And therefore we can only guess what we can expect from the scenery using the screenshots. As usual, most of the developers use PBR materials for the textures, so we don’t think this rendition will be an exception. There are also custom ground textures, static vehicles and 3D interior.
