Developer SimNord has recently released their newest add-on for MSFS, the Nordborg airfield. The announcement was published on their Facebook page. This is one of many add-ons created by the developer for the platform with another being for example the Aarhus Airport scenery for MSFS.
Key features of the Nordborg Airfield
The airport has many noteworthy features. Firstly, the airport buildings have been modelled with textures based on photos taken by SimNord, ensuring a high level of realism. Additionally, the airfield features custom aerial imagery, modelled static aeroplanes, and animated characters further enhancing the immersive experience. Lastly, the add-on includes the well-known point of interest in the local area, the Nordborg Castle. With this addition, virtual pilots can truly experience the authenticity and charm of the actual Nordborg airfield, making the simulated environment even more captivating and realistic.
Nordborg Airport (EKNB) is a small Danish airfield located 1.2 nautical miles to the north of the city of Nordborg, situated in the south of Denmark. The airport has a small grass runway, utilized by the local aeroclub known as Nordals Flying Club. The charming airport provides an excellent opportunity for Flight simmers to immerse themselves in the breathtaking natural beauty of the region, featuring lush forests and the picturesque Baltic Sea.
