SimNord Shares Final Previews of Aarhus for MSFS

The team from SimNord, previously, before rebranding, also known as Vidan Design, has yesterday taken to their Facebook page to share a new set of previews of their soon-to-be-released rendition of Aarhus Airport (EKAH) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Based on the post written in Danish and translated to English, the work on the scenery has been completed and the files were sent out to Microsoft to approve it and put it on sale through the in-game Marketplace.

The scenery is expected to offer the usuals: PBR textures, accurate ground layout, and custom high-resolution ground textures. It also seems like the developers have worked on a custom orthoimagery for the area, though this was not confirmed by them yet.

The price, for now, remains unknown. The same applies to the expected release date. Microsoft is however known for having a long waiting time before releasing new products through the in-game Marketplace.

Aarhus Airport (EKAH) is a rather small airport located just a few kilometers out of Aarhus on the eastern coast of Denmark. The airport sees mainly seasonal traffic to famous summer tourist destinations like Corfu, Zadar, or Palma de Mallorca. It operates two asphalt runways of a length of about 2.7 kilometers.
