Released for X-Plane 11 about four months ago, Stairport Sceneries has today previewed their rendition of Alta Airport (ENAT) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. It is the first time the developer has mentioned the development of the scenery for the simulator.
Based on the Facebook post, the scenery is scheduled to enter a beta testing stage soon. In the meantime, six previews were shared showcasing the scenery both in daytime and nighttime.
The release date and pricing details remain unknown. In regards to the features, although the feature list was not shared just yet, based on the previews, the scenery should feature custom orthoimagery, PBR textures, custom static aircraft, or terminal and ATC interior modelled together with custom night lighting.
Alta Airport is a rather small commercial airport located in the northern part of Norway. The airport operates a single runway and sees traffic from airlines such as Norwegian Air Shuttle, Scandinavian Airlines, Wideroes, or even Aegean Airlines.
