Stairport Sceneries Releases East Frisian Islands for MSFS

Stairport Sceneries have taken to Facebook to announce the release of East Frisian Islands for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This comes after weeks of teasing screenshots posted on social media.

This addon covers an area off the coast of Saxony in Germany. The developers have produced a realistic rendition of these scenic islands covering a 90km stretch, that includes Borkum, Juist, Norderney, Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog, Kachelotplate, Memmert, Minsener Oog, and Mellum. Among these islands, Stairport Sceneries have included 6 highly detailed airfields and two helipads, which are listed below.

The developers have used custom, high definition textures to feature vegetation, airport layouts, static aircraft, and 3D characters. They have also added landmarks such as lighthouses, harbour buildings, beach chairs, restaurants, and beacons.
