Stairport Sceneries Releases St. Mary Airport for MSFS

Stairport Sceneries have at the end of September released their new rendition of St. Marry Airport (EGHE) in the Isles of Scilly just west of Cornwall in the United Kingdom.

The scenery was developed from scratch by the team at Stairport Sceneries. This is not very usual as the developers often only convert sceneries from older platforms, with the approval of the original developers, to newer platforms like Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane 11.

The scenery also offers a wide range of features. These include highly detailed objects accurately placed around the scenery with 4K PBR textures, or handmade mesh to correct the coastline of the island and offer an accurate runway slope. The scenery was also further optimized for the best performance based on the specifications from Microsoft.

The developers have recreated the airport in the latest state, including the ongoing construction. It was not disclosed by the developers whether are they planning on updating the scenery once the construction is done or not.

The scenery can be purchased through Aerosoft’s website for a decent price of only €10 with VAT excluded.
