ToLiss, renowned for their precise Airbus aircraft simulations for both X-Plane 11 and 12, has recently released a significant update for their A320neo. Version 1.1 introduces a wide variety of new features and system simulation improvements, which will enhance the flight simmers’ experience.
Update Overview
This update focuses on bug fixing and on improving the systems depth of the aircraft. Some of the exciting features that this update incorporates are:
- Hydraulics improvements
- MCDU, ECAM, and FMGS improvements
- New failure modes and circuit breakers
- Visual enhancements
- Various bug fixes and refinements

Hydraulics Improvements
To commence with their update log, ToLiss has mentioned some details about their hydraulic improvement package. This includes the simulation of trapped hydraulic fluid in asymmetric actuators such as landing gear or spoilers actuators. They also fixed the PTU overheat when engine one failed, elevating their standards even more when it comes to realism.
MCDU, ECAM, and FMGS Improvements
ToLiss shared three improvement packages to the MCDU, ECAM, and FMGS of their Airbus A320neo. To start with the MCDU, the CLR command is now indented in scratchpad as in real life, and the DIR TO page prefills the RADIAL IN on the DIR TO page as required, getting even closer to the real A320’s interface.
In terms of ECAM, the overspeed warning now triggers based on actual flap/slat position rather than lever position. The status page now displays approach procedures for hydraulic faults, along with other refinements.
To finalize with FMGS, the user can now use ICAO codes as waypoints. The constraints of the first waypoint in STAR are retained, enhancing accuracy. Additionally, the weight display logic for SD has been improved, among other updates.

New Failure Modes and Circuit Breakers
Focused on users who like to experiment with failures, ToLiss has added new failure modes and circuit breakers. Some of the new failure modes include slow and rapid decompression, cargo smoke, slats and flaps lock, among others, adding up to the overall experience of dealing with an emergency. Furthermore, there are new functional circuit breakers, bringing the total to 240.
Visual Improvements
The looks of the plane matter, and ToLiss knows it, so they have added multiple visual improvements in this new update. Among the enhancements, there are new AoA vanes on the fuselage, new tiller textures, and animated flap level guards, among other updates.
Closing Notes
In conclusion, this update is set to lift ToLiss’ A320neo to a new level of simulation. ToLiss advises in the change log to do a clean install of this new version, and then use the Skunkcrafts updater for all subsequent updates.
