After releasing their first scenery for the new simulator back on September 2nd, Verticalsim has today came to their social networks to announce the development of new scenery. This is a non-direct port from X-Plane 11 as most objects, materials, and lighting were made from scratch to fully use what the new simulator has to offer.
A complete feature list has been included in the post. Based on that, the scenery will feature PBR implementation, current airport layout, or free updates in the future, for example. Furthermore, a discount will be available for existing users of the X-Plane 11 variant of the scenery worth 10% of the price. Verticalsim has explained in the past, that they cannot provide big discounts as a lot of work has to be done in order to port the scenery to the new simulator.
Verticalsim has also included an expected release date and pricing details in todays post. The scenery should be released sometime this week, and should cost around $12-13. Further, we can expect the scenery to be available at the Verticalsim website, SimMarket, X-Plane.org Store and the Microsoft Marketplce when released.
