Verticalsim Releases a Small Update for Fayetteville Airport (XP11)

Just about a day after the initial scenery release, Verticalsim has updated their first North Carolina payware scenery covering the Fayetteville Airport (KFAY) in X-Plane 11. Bringing only a few small fixes, it is a minor update.

With the new update, the issue where the approach lights were sticking out was fixed, tree placements was improved around the runway, and signature textures were fixed throughout the airport.

In order to update the scenery, you will need to download the new files from the store of your purchase and replace the old ones in your simulator. The scenery can be purchased on Verticalsim’s website for approximately €13.44.

Fayetteville Regional Airport (KFAY) caters to all flight simmers, whether you like GA flying, regional hops, or commercial service, the airport has something for you. The airport offers service by American Eagle and Delta connection to various destinations such as Atlanta and Dallas. The airport saw over 100,000 passengers in 2015.

Changelog (v1.1)

  • Fixed approach lights sticking out of the ground on RWY4
  • Fixed trees off RWY22
  • Fixed ATC routes/AI pathways
  • Fixed signature texture

I've been a flight sim enthusiast for some time now, and I've always enjoyed flying to various destinations all over the world. My favourite airport is by far Corfu with its scenic and challenging approach. I founded FSNews in May 2019.
