Windsock Simulations Further Previews Madrid Airport for X-Plane 11

Windsock Simulations has earlier today taken to their Facebook page to share a new set of previews showcasing their up-and-coming rendition of Madrid Barajas Airport (LEMD) for X-Plane 11.

The development was last time mentioned back in November last year. This longer period of silence was explained to be caused by personal issues of one member of the development team.

Now, after three months of silence and resolved personal issues, a bunch of previews showcasing the scenery was shared together with some additional information on how the development progresses.

It was mentioned in the post, that the development is “nearing the end” with a few things left to “take care of”.

The scenery is scheduled to enter the beta testing phase later this month. Initially, the beta testing phase was scheduled to happen back in October 2020. The pricing details and closer release date remain unknown.

Madrid Airport, or better known as the Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, is located 9km from Madrid’s financial district. It is Europe’s sixth busiest airport, and Spain’s most used.
