X-Crafts Release E-Jets V2.0 and Lineage 1000

X-Crafts took to their blog post to announce the release of a major update for their E-Jets family rendition for X-Plane 11 and 12. The latest update sees major changes and improvements to the product line along with the release of the business jet version of the aircraft.

What does V2.0 bring?

The key highlight of this update is a vital fix to the dark cockpit lighting issue that has been plaguing X-Plane 12 for a while now. The team has developed a fix and is part of this update. The Ambient Lighting Modifier comes with three options: default, dynamic, and natural, and is of course only available on the XP12 platform.

Noise-canceling headphone simulation has also been added; you can now experience what real-world pilots do by cutting out cockpit noise for a more realistic and immersive sound experience. The new Glide Path (GP) autopilot mode now provides vertical guidance RNAV approaches, just like ILS approaches. Strobe lights now flash front to back, just like the real-world aircraft, the E175’s extended winglets now have longer strobes, and NAV lights cast a more realistic glow on the ground.

The EFB on the aircraft has also been updated with many UI/UX changes and a new settings page for sound adjustments. The new fuel system is now fully custom for all E-Jets; the Lineage 1000’s fuel system accurately and automatically transfers fuel from the auxiliary tanks to the main tanks during cruise.

New Lineage 1000

Along with the latest update comes the latest new aircraft from X-Crafts: the Lineage 1000 business jet based on the E-Jets family of aircraft. The aircraft features a custom fuel system, intricate airstairs for easy passenger access, a highly detailed interior based on a real lineage that features 50+ bespoke materials, ultra-high resolution textures, five unique zones, and even a bedroom; and four distinct liveries.

The jet also features fully customizable lighting, including 28 individually adjustable spotlights, ambient lighting, and custom ceiling/floor lighting. The interior also has five working cabin TVs, an interactive cabin with animated blinds, tables, doors, and more, auto-stow features, and an optional SATCOM antenna.

Pricing and Upgrades

The new version 2.0 update for the E-Jets is completely free assuming you own at least one of the aircraft. Simply download 2.0 from the store or the installer and you will get the updates. If you own the entire family of aircraft, the Lineage 1000 is a free upgrade.

If you own just one of the aircraft, the upgrade price to get all the aircraft is now USD 84.99 while the entire family of aircraft costs USD 149.99 which includes five aircraft now. Individually though, the E170 costs USD 67.50 while the E175, E190, E195, and Lineage 1000 all cost USD 74.95.

Overall, a very exciting release from the team at X-Crafts with many new improvements and fixes. An added sweet update from the head dev who revealed he has now become a father to a baby girl so do congratulate him.
