X-Crafts recently took to the X-Plane.org forum and their website to share the first preview images of the ERJ Family 2.0, showcasing a completely reworked cockpit and avionics package for the aircraft in X-Plane.
The new version makes use of higher-resolution textures and optimization methods refined by X-Crafts during development of the E-Jets and Lineage 1000. Alongside the visual upgrade comes a rebuilt avionics suite with redesigned PFDs and MFDs, a tailored EFB, and, for the first time in the ERJs, an authentic FMS, which can now also be popped-out into an external window, and used across multiple monitors.

With Version 2.0, the ERJ family builds on the foundations X-Crafts laid in the past, with key focus areas including highly detailed texture work visible throughout the newly modelled cockpit.
Testing is already underway with pilots and beta users involved. X-Crafts state
“If all goes as planned, we’re on track for release later this year.”
We can expect to see more development insights from X-Crafts as time progresses. In the meantime, you can check out their official post on the X-Crafts website. If you’re interested in reading previous articles about the developer, you can find out more about X-Crafts here on FSNews.
