Xtreme Prototypes has released its GLJ Model 25 CSE, or the Learjet 25, for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, marking the developer’s entry into the next-gen simulator. The aircraft addon is also compatible with MSFS 2024, but wasn’t natively developed for it.
About the Learjet 25
The Learjet 25 is an American business jet designed by Learjet in 1966 and first flown in 1967. It is an elongated variant of the Learjet 24 equipped with two General Electric CJ610 turbojet engines, enabling the aircraft to travel at approximately Mach 0.76-0.81, a service ceiling of up to 45,000 feet, and a range of roughly 1,700 miles. Several variants with improved fuel capacity and performance additions have been manufactured. Today, over 2,100 Learjets are still in service. Aside from business, these aircraft are also deployed on medical and special missions.

System Depth and Immersion
The addon models various systems, such as hydraulics, pressurization, fuel (including wingtip tank jettison), anti-ice, autopilot, GPWS, and more. The cockpit is a 3D model with animated steam gauges and retrofit avionics, and it is compatible with the default GNS 530. The cabin is leather upholstered, with wood finishes, a working TV, and even an old 8-track player. A hand-crafted sound package, crafted in Audiokinetic Wwise software, includes authentic Learjet engine sounds and over 80 cockpit stereo sound effects.

Customization and Extras
A customization kit and paintkit give the user the ability to create their own liveries and customize features alongside 14 different included liveries. The addon comprises 24 interior and 14 exterior camera views, numerous cockpit presets, dynamic lighting, simulated effects, and a 300+ page manual.
