29Palms Announces Mykonos for MSFS, plus Further Development Information

29Palms Scenery Design has taken to social media to announce and preview Mykonos (LGMK) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, as well as update news on further developments.

They share some screenshots, which can be viewed below, but they also give some indication that the release date could be soon, though they have not revealed a date as yet. The developers also suggest that this release, and possibly the P3D release too, will have the old terminal building, even though a new one is being built as we speak. A future update to the scenery will include the new terminal.

Further development news consisted of questions being asked about Mykonos being available for P3D. The developers have responded by stating that a P3D version will go into development after the MSFS version has been released.

They also state that they are still in consultation as to what this scenery will include. They are seeking feedback, after the MSFS release, on whether the addon should include just the airport, the airport, and the island, or whether there should be an airport plus island extension pack at a later date.

Located 4km from the town of Mykonos, the airport serves both domestic and flights across Europe. The new terminal will increase the terminal space by fifty per cent.
