VREF Simulations is a new developer on the flightsim scene. They have previously released a freeware addon for a small Brazilian Airstrip. Today, they released their Bornholm (EKRN), Denmark scenery for MSFS. This airport is located on the island of Bornholm.
Bornholm is an island in the Baltic Sea. It is the easternmost point of Denmark. The airport is located 5km southeast of Rønne, the island’s capital. The island houses about 40 000 people and is a tourist destination in Summer. There are daily flights to Copenhagen by Danish Air Transport. In summer, several other destinations in Denmark open up.
The airport features PBR textures, many custom hand-made buildings for the airport area. The developer says on Discord this scenery took more than 30 hours of work. They are aware of a small issue where some details on the front of the terminal are missing.
UPDATE: The developer has published an update. The update comes after a criticising review on SimMarket. This update brings completely reworked ground textures and added taxiway names and other missing textures. Some more details were added near the fuel pumps.
