Aerosoft, one of the biggest developers in aviation simulation and transport, have taken to Facebook to preview the eagerly anticipated, and ever popular, de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Only a few screenshots, showing the instruments in the cockpit, have been posted, but they do certainly show the detail modelled. This is a well loved aircraft in other simulators, so it would make a welcome addition to the new simulator.
With this only being a preview, no details have been given as to when this will be ready for release. Hopefully, the community will not have too long to wait.
The de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter is a 19 passenger utility aircraft with STOL capabilities, manufactured in Canada. It has a high rate of climb due to its twin turboprop engines, which make this a popular aircraft for both commuting and cargo uses.
