RW Profiles Releases New Springfield-Branson National for MSFS

Developer RW Profiles, known for their work on GSX Profiles, have released their first scenery product offering, Springfield-Branson National Airport, for Microsoft Flight Simulator. iniBuilds took to their Discord server earlier today to announce the release of the airport rendition.

About Springfield-Branson National Airport

Springfield-Branson National, formerly known as Springfield-Branson Regional Airport, is a domestic airport located five miles northwest of Springfield, Missouri, USA. The airport opened as the Springfield-Greene County Airport on July 2, 1945, and replaced the Springfield Park and Airport on East Division Street. The airport has non-stop scheduled passenger flights to fourteen US cities served by Allegiant Air, American Eagle, Delta Air Lines, Delta Connection, and United Express. The airport also has seven cargo destinations served by DHL, FedEx, and UPS.

Key features

RW Profiles’ Springfield-Branson Airport features hand-made and hand-painted ground textures, a true-to-life airport landside, accurate night lighting, custom runway, and taxiway lighting, and highly detailed models of all airport buildings, objects, and surroundings. The airport also features an up-to-date airport layout referencing the latest charts, custom-built and animated jetways, optimized LODs for high performance, and an accurately modeled terminal interior.

Furthermore, the developer has also included the option to disable certain parts, or the entirety, of the modeled terminal interior and various other features of the scenery for better performance on lower-end PCs. Other features also include custom hand-placed taxiway signage, a fully modeled GA apron, custom static aircraft, ground clutter and GSE, and compatibility with AI traffic injectors. The developer has also included a custom GSX Pro profile in the product files.
