Robert Randazzo from the PMDG team has taken to the developer forums to discuss a new release window for the highly anticipated Boeing 777-200ER for Microsoft Flight Simulator and MSFS 2024 that is going to be released next week. Moreover, there is some more information about other products from the team’s hangar.
Robert started the forum post by mentioning that the 777-200ER is going to be released for both simulators between the 29th of April and the 1st of May, and a day-prior advice of the release is also going to occur. This package is going to include three engine options for the 200ER, each having different performance and sound packs, ensuring a highly immersive experience for virtual pilots.

The Boeing 777F and the 777-300ER were mentioned in this post as well, and Robert says that most of the work has now shifted to these two aircraft, as the work on the 777-200ER is mostly finished and is just being polished for the initial release. The Freighter version of this popular narrow-body should be available in the second half of May, and the 300ER should follow two weeks after the release of the Freighter.
Lastly, the DC-6 has also been mentioned and is nearing completion for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Some differences between the two major platforms are now being polished. However, the timeline of the release is not yet known.
