A2A Aerostar 600 for MSFS: One Month of Early Access

A2A Simulations has now reached the one-month milestone of Early Access for the Accu-Sim Aerostar 600, available exclusively on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

A2A Simulations has now reached the one-month milestone of Early Access for the Accu-Sim Aerostar 600, available exclusively on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Weekly updates have refined core systems, visuals, dynamics, and avionics, pushing the aircraft ever so closer to its full Version 1.0 release.

This milestone was highlighted in an official Facebook post, where A2A expressed their gratitude for community support and feedback throughout the first month of Early Access. The Aerostar’s initial development was announced last year, and following its Early Access launch, the team has delivered weekly updates, steadily refining flight dynamics, avionics, and visuals.

About the Aerostar

Originally designed by Ted Smith in the late 1960s, the Aerostar is a high-performance, twin-engine general aviation aircraft best known for its speed, handling, and innovative engineering. Later produced by Piper, the Aerostar 600 series quickly earned a reputation as one of the fastest piston twins ever built, combining impressive cruise speeds with refined control response and strong cross-country capabilities. Its blend of power, efficiency, and style made it a favorite among private pilots and owner-operators seeking top-tier performance in a GA twin.

A2A Simulations

A2A Simulations has long been recognized for pushing the boundaries of realism in flight simulation, especially in the general aviation segment. Their aircraft are defined by deep, physics-driven systems, true-to-life aerodynamics, and immersive engine and maintenance management. Much of this realism is delivered through A2A’s proprietary Accu-Sim technology, a simulation engine that models aircraft systems, wear, failures, and dynamic behavior far beyond the base simulator. The Aerostar 600, now in Early Access, is their first fully native release for MSFS 2024 and showcases the next-generation Accu-Sim 2.0 technology.

Before the Aerostar, A2A set a new standard in MSFS general aviation with the critically acclaimed Accu-Sim Comanche 250. Widely considered one of the finest general aviation aircraft addons ever released for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the Comanche 250 is celebrated for its advanced flight dynamics, deep system simulation, and unmatched realism. The Comanche’s reputation for immersion and authenticity set a high bar for A2A’s future general aviation releases.

Community and Feedback

A2A Simulations emphasizes attention to detail and actively incorporates community feedback into their development process. The Early Access Aerostar 600 continues this tradition, with weekly updates shaped by direct user feedback. Pilots are encouraged to report bugs and suggestions via the dedicated A2A forum thread.
