A2A Simulations has provided an update on their RG550, sharing new screenshots and opening the dedicated Legacy forum on the A2A website. In this update, A2A shared new information on how the aircraft was coming along across different parts of development.

According to A2A, the simulation and beta are progressing well and are very close to a release. Their planned release has moved slightly into October to give the team time to finalise and polish different areas of the RG550 following another round of reference work on the real aircraft.

A2A recently took some additional measurements on the real Legacy RG550 aircraft, which needed some additional attention. This work took longer than the team had planned, but those checks have now been finished. Scott from the A2A team also made a final visit to the aircraft, and after all these visits, everything that needs to be finished is back in front of the team.

A2A says there will be upcoming product videos available soon to show off and explain more about the Legacy RG550. The new dedicated forum for the Legacy has also been opened to follow the remaining progress. No exact release date has been given yet, apart from the slight delay that has moved it into early October. You can keep up to date on future news surrounding the Legacy RG550 here on FSNews.
