Aerosoft and ToLiss Showcase A340-600 Pro Training

Aerosoft and ToLiss showcased the A340-600 Pro Training at FSExpo 2026 while reaffirming development of the ToLiss and FlightFactor A350 for X-Plane.

Aerosoft and ToLiss used their FSExpo 2026 presentation to showcase the Airbus A340-600 Pro for Microsoft Flight Simulator while providing a brief update on the developer’s future plans across both Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane.

Opening the presentation, a ToLiss representative thanked the community for its continued support and reflected on the successful release of the A340-600 Pro. First announced alongside Aerosoft during last year’s FlightSimExpo, the aircraft officially launched in March 2026 and marked ToLiss expansion into the Microsoft Flight Simulator platform after years of focusing exclusively on X-Plane.

The developer explained that this move has created new opportunities for the studio, with technologies and improvements developed for the MSFS version now gradually being integrated into its X-Plane products, allowing both platforms to benefit from ongoing development.

ToLiss also confirmed that its next major project remains the Airbus A350, developed in collaboration with FlightFactor for X-Plane. While the partnership had already been announced previously, no new screenshots, technical details, or release timeline were revealed during the presentation.

The remainder of the showcase focused on one of the A340-600 Pro’s built-in training scenarios. Flying a Thai Airways service into Munich under poor weather conditions, the crew simulated an engine number two failure during the approach to demonstrate the aircraft’s ECAM logic and emergency procedures.

Throughout the scenario, the crew identified the failed engine using the ECAM, completed the required checklist actions, secured engine number two, coordinated with air traffic control for radar vectors, and safely completed a three-engine approach and landing while following standard Airbus operating procedures.

The demonstration highlighted the depth of the aircraft’s systems simulation and showcased the guided training scenarios included with the add-on, allowing users to practise abnormal procedures and emergency situations in a realistic environment.

Although no major product announcements were made during FSExpo 2026, the presentation offered another look at the procedural depth of the Aerosoft and ToLiss A340-600 Pro while reaffirming the studio’s continued commitment to both Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane development.
