FSExpo 2025 – June 28, 2025
At FSExpo 2025, the German-based development team Aerosoft took the stage to announce two major aircraft projects for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS): the Airbus A330neo and the A340-600, the latter developed in partnership with ToLiss. ToLiss is widely known for its Airbus projects for X-Plane. Both aircraft are designed for PC and Xbox, aiming to bring high-quality long-haul Airbus options to the simulator.
A330neo: Modern Long-Haul, Marketplace-Friendly
Aerosoft revealed that the A330neo is in development and will be released through the MSFS Marketplace, including support for Xbox. The aircraft will come with a fully modeled passenger cabin and a wide range of real-world liveries. Designed to be more accessible and easier to fly, the A330neo will target simmers looking for a modern airliner without an overwhelming systems depth. Even though there is no current pricing yet, this airliner will be on the cheaper side, as this project was partially government-funded.

A340-600: High-End Simulation in Collaboration with ToLiss
The A340-600, Aerosoft’s next major project, is being developed in close partnership with ToLiss, a developer known for their high-fidelity Airbus aircraft in X-Plane. This marks ToLiss’s first collaboration on an MSFS aircraft.
- The A340 will be released first for MSFS 2020, followed by a version optimized for MSFS 2024.
- It will feature nearly 1:1 flight dynamics based on ToLiss’s X-Plane version, promising a highly realistic and professional experience.
- A standout feature is aircraft state saving, which allows users to pause long-haul flights and resume them at any time, even days later.
- Unlike the A330neo, the A340 is intended as a more high-end, systems-deep airliner for advanced simmers.
- Aerosoft also confirmed plans to bring the A340-600 to the Xbox platform. This would be the first high-end airliner for the consoles, according to them.
The A340-600 is currently expected to release before the year of 2026.
