Manchester Airport (EGCC) is one of the largest airports in Great Britain. EGCC has 2 parallel runways and yearly serves around 30 million tourists. We got a chance to review Manchester Airport scenery from Aerosoft, and as usual, I would like to say huge thank you to Aerosoft for making this possible.
Design
In terms of design, the airport isn’t perfect. In my opinion, if Aerosoft did spend more time designing this scenery it would be much better. Although the overall design might not be great if we look closer we can see such detail, that sometimes I was thinking, why did they spend so much time designing small things, but left big things behind. For example, the detail of tarmac wear is insane. The tarmac was just an example, there are many more things like that.
Frame rate
In the case of the frame rate, I get an average frame rate. So even with slower hardware, you will not have a problem running this scenery, and I think that this is the main point to mention since not all sceneries are compatible with slower hardware.
Conclusion
In conclusion for 20€ is this scenery totally worth it! I know I wrote, that the design isn’t anything special, and I still think so, but for 20€ it’s totally fine. If I would need to rate this scenery from 0 to 10 I would give it a solid 6. The reason why did I took away those 4 points are that I don’t really get into terminal design and in general, I didn’t fall in love with the scenery 🙂
