Aerosoft has in the recent days taken multiple times to their forums to share their up-and-coming rendition of Berlin Brandenburg Airport (EDDB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. While the announcement was made back in October 2020, there was not much new information shared since then about the project.
Based on the original announcement post, upon release, the scenery should feature up-to-date airport layout, custom terrain mesh, operable jetways, realistic dynamic lighting, or custom aerial imagery for the area, for example. Furthermore, landmarks in the airport vicinity will be recreated as well.
A set of nine previews showcasing the scenery can be seen below. All previews are from the simulator itself and showcase the airport area in general with a focus on the custom mesh that will be present in the scenery.
The release date and pricing details remain unknown.
