Aerosoft Previews Bratislava for P3D

Community Developer Pavel1971 has taken to the Aerosoft forums to preview his new work on Bratislava for P3Dv4 and v5. Recent posts show just how much work is going into this project which covers the airport and the city. The Bratislava castle will be included too. Aerial imagery is already working in the simulator.

The developer has so far modelled the castle very precisely. It includes the parliament and houses below the castle wall. He plans to include the historical part of the city as well. In fact, his work will show a mixture of both modern and historical buildings. This shows the amount of work the developer is putting into this project to make it accurate to real life.

Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and is located alongside the river Danube close to the Hungarian-Austrian border. The city is known for its history, vineyards and bustling bars and cafes. The airport, known as Bratislava-Ivanka Airport (LZIB) is located 9km northeast of the city and is served by the airlines like Ryanair, AirExplore and Smartwings Slovakia. The airport has two runways (04/22 & 13/31) and can take a variety of aircraft from small GA planes to bigger airliners.
